Not quite ready for Prismacolor, Faber Castell or Caran d'ache?

At 120 shades this is beyond the scope of the sample pack. In composition, they are most similar to Faber Castells, but much cheaper. It could be a high school kit, or someone with a growing interest in crayons who is unwilling or unable to shell out $400 for a professional-quality kit. I use them to expand my set of Prismacolor, FC and some precious Caran d'ache pens. Light blue or neutral taupe is never enough. They are not as fragile as my Prismacolors (which are by far the most breakable). They have nice rich colors and apply quite well, although I had a bit of trouble getting the gradient even. I think that's a good value for an intermediate set.
