Sorry but I have to give this machine one star. The fan looks great. It's stable. The 6 blades and the size of 60 inches are great for moving air and are relatively quiet. The reason for the 1 star is that it is incorrectly advertised as a dimmable light. Unfortunately I had to install a ceiling fan to find out. The remote only turns the light on and off. The instructions state that you have to constantly press the light button on the remote control to switch between different dimming levels. But mine just turns on and off. Now I'm sticking with a light that doesn't dim and is very bright. If installing a fan wasn't such an issue I would return it as I wanted a dimmable light. Now I'm stuck without one. UPDATE: The company said the bulbs were the problem and they will send me new ones. They never did. However, I bought two Philips Hue smart bulbs and they fit. I now have a dimmable light that I can control via my smartphone (and Alexa). The decision wasn't down to a fan or company but now that I have a dimmable light I'll upgrade it to 3 stars. The fan looks nice and moves the air well and the remote control for the fan is great too.
