Large and responsible for large surface area due to 60 inch span of off-center blades. Four speeds and quiet operation offer a very efficient cooling solution. The fan is nice and doesn't wobble at all, even on the highest settings. I chose to connect this fan to a wall control, which works really well, instead of the included remote. The first unit arrived with a broken glass globe and after being unable to get a replacement glass from the carrier Revain kindly replaced it with a new fan. I was nervous about buying a Westinghouse fan because I don't know the company as a fan manufacturer. The fan is amazing. It doesn't wobble, looks great, is very durable, makes no engine noise and is easy to assemble. We installed it on a 13.5 foot sloping roof. Yes, it can be mounted on a sloping ceiling, which I was concerned about. The fan can only be controlled with a wall switch, which is what we did. The fan looks great. I am a designer; While I don't design ceiling fans, I would be proud to design this one. This is a beautiful fan. I take my hat off to the designer(s). I took the polished nickel version and put the lighter wood side down. As mentioned, this isn't the easiest install - lots of screws.
