I was nervous about buying a Westinghouse fan because I don't know the company as a fan manufacturer. The fan is amazing. It doesn't wobble, looks great, is very durable, makes no engine noise and is easy to assemble. We installed it on a 13.5 foot sloping roof. Yes, it can be mounted on a sloping ceiling, which I was concerned about. The fan can only be controlled with a wall switch, which is what we did. You cannot control the fan settings from the wall as the receiver can only be turned on or off, so individual lighting and fan settings are controlled by the remote. We keep the fan on the desired setting and turn it on or off from the wall. So cheap and great we bought another Westinghouse model and put it in another room and it's just as great.
