I've run out of Arctic Silver 5 which has been my favorite thermal compound for years. Since AS/5 is out forever, I decided to look around and try a newer version this time. After reading and looking at online reviews I settled on the Arctic MX-2 paste because it seemed to fit the bill and I build more office and CAD machines than liquid nitrogen cooled crazy high end ones gaming systems. I went all out and ordered a 65-ounce hypodermic bazooka from this gossip, which should last about 14,282 computer builds if my calculations are correct. So far all the reviews I've seen have only claimed thermal paste. It's MUCH easier to deploy (and clean up) than AS/5, which irritated me at first, but in testing it works great like the reviews said. By using this material, the temperature of the CPU and GPU can be controlled very well. I'm glad I made the purchase. Sometime in the next 5 years I will order another if it eventually runs out.
