I have a Ridgeway Biomat and finally added it to help with a headache! I lay my head on my bio mat with no heat! Do not apply heat to the head! It helped with the pain in my head, but it wasn't very comfortable. This pillow is hard even though I ordered a soft one, but I found that after about 5 or 10 minutes it doesn't bother me anymore and I can sleep on it all night. I use after chiropractic correction of the neck and jaw. Also use on my stomach when I'm not feeling so well. I'm always amazed at how well these products work! I am 66 years old and have suffered from Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue for over 25 years. Biomater gave me back the ability to walk like I used to when I was younger. It worked quickly! You must be careful not to get a detox effect if you use the heating mat too hard or for too long. I'm not sure the same can be said for the pillow. I believe it's worth the money to reduce or eliminate the pain.
