Review on Altec Lansing MZX856-RED Bluetooth Active Earbuds by Aaron Rosengren

Battery life is excellent, up to 20 hours. Unfortunately, in my experience, it stops holding a charge after about 9-15 months of daily use. I have bought this product twice. 2nd time with extended replacement warranty for Assurant. I bought my second set at the end of February 2018, at the end of October 2018 I had the same problem as with the first purchase. I first contacted Altec Lansing by phone and followed the instructions I received via email regarding proof of purchase etc. I did according to the instructions. Now they don't reply to my emails. So now I'm left with nothing. My extended warranty company needs paperwork that the manufacturer can't help me with before they can. My advice. Don't buy extended warranties or buy that particular product if you don't mind replacing it fairly often at your own expense.
