If you only need the mechanism. never mind

I just wanted a new movement to replace the one in my broken watch. Luckily I figured out how to use the old hour and minute hands as the ones that came with the Mudder movement DO NOT WORK! I used the second hand I was given to work. I threw away the hour/minute hands. So far the mechanism is keeping time well.

Cons
  • Hard to say

Clockwork scrap

The hands are so thin they can be compared to aluminum foil. I had to tear the sticker off the instructions to read them. When I assembled the watch, the mechanism didn't work. sent back. Basically it was a waste of about an hour between the hassle of assembling a piece of poor quality shit and boxing it up for a return!

A great set of gears for clocks with your own hands!

I bought this gear for a clock I made out of cedar wood. The long spindle allowed me to use a nice thick piece and the end product came out really well! The long hands are a perfect match for what I had and if they happen to get damaged this is a really cheap and easy replacement that anyone can make. Will definitely continue to buy this product

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • No automatic

The hands are made of thin and flexible metal.

The watch I made turned out really cool, but the assembly was more difficult than I expected. You have to press the hands hard against the movement, which causes the hands to bend a lot. The sides of the metal arms are really sharp; I got about 6-7 scrapes and cuts on my arms trying to bend them back. So far it's been running for about 18 hours and it's only been offline for 1 minute.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • The packaging is ugly

silver hands. golden puck.

We needed silver hands and a new movement. Hour, min and seconds hands in satin silver but the threaded shank, washer and lock nut going forward are in gold. Kind of stupid. Once I find a thin enough washer and nut to thread onto the shaft I'll replace them. But you might think it's all silver. It's not so easy to see in a photo.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Negative is present

You get what you pay for.

I don't know what I was hoping for at this price point, but it's bullshit to get this thing. Almost aluminum foil, how easily they bend. There is also a layer of plastic on top which I think is specifically for shine, but it peeled off immediately. Maybe to protect him, but I don't think so. Everything looks good when everything is in place, so it's not too bad, but you certainly won't find a great deal on a quality product for less than $10.

Pros
  • Sturdy build
Cons
  • Vulgarity

The second time wasn't good.

I bought the first time 2 1/2 years ago. It lasted a long time and was easy to assemble. I don't know what happened when I changed the time due to Daylight Saving Time, but the big hand stopped working. I decided the spring was broken so I ordered again. The second will not keep accurate time. I even changed the battery hoping that was the problem. nope The second hand moves in a circle, and so do others. Time speeds up or slows down. Now I'm looking for another brand to buy.

  • I have no bad feelings, everything is fine

Love it! for hardware

I have 2 fairly modern glass wall clocks that I can't replace. I had a third but had no idea I could change the movement and ended up throwing it away. Sorry what I did.: It worked great when the old clock stopped working accurately and it only took a few minutes to replace the movement. I was able to easily adjust my arms to my face. Highly recommended. Note that this one clicks as you move it. This has never bothered me, but I will note that many reviewers of various movements want the…
