Review on Optimal Pond Water Conditioner - Seachem Pond Prime by Jessica Rogers

This product has been a lifesaver (literally!) for my pond. It quickly removes chlorine, chloramine and neutralizes both ammonia and nitrite without affecting pH. A little goes a long way - just shake well before use. I always keep in stock. I've had several pump/filter failures over the years (usually when I'm out of town - find out!). This product can be used for chemical water treatment without a working filter system. It has literally saved me hundreds if not thousands of dollars by keeping my carp safe until repairs can be made. I also add a small amount of water if I need to add water to the pond (which is often hot in the summer). My only criticism is the packaging. It would be nice if there was a quick reference table and a built-in dispenser on the label. I usually write the dosage I need right on the bottle with a marker and put a small measuring cup on the cap.
