I have had this tarp for over a year now. The first time I used it to cover my hammock during winter hikes. On one of these trips, I was caught in the rain for 3 days and 2 nights, and my bedding and hammock stayed dry all weekend. Polyurethane coating and taped seams ensure absolute water protection. The square shape and wide hinges make it versatile for attaching all types of tarps. It's a bit heavier than some of the higher end silnylon offerings but in terms of value for money it's really good value, it's super waterproof and built like a tank.
