Review on Men'S Waterproof Backpacking Boots For The Outdoors by Don Leblanc

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I like the boots best in my review

I like the boots. They are wider than I expected, and I have a wide foot. I always wear the EE in running shoes. I am usually a 11 and I bought 12's to allow for thick socks and I do kind of swim in them. It seems like an 11 would have been just fine.I mostly bought them to keep by the back door to slip into when I take my 11 month old German Shepard puppy out to play - which is ALL the time and in any weather! They serve that purpose just fine - keeping my feet nice and warm and dry. For $60, they are a slam dunk.

Pros
  • Breathable mesh lining for added comfort
Cons
  • They do not allow for much flexibility in the toes

Not as high quality as I''ve had in the past but it is still a pretty good boot. They don''t make them like they used to.Haven''t had them for very long with only one wearing in deep, wet snow. They are a bit snug but they will probably loosen up with wear.
