They're fitted around the waist but with too much fabric, making them really "poufs," as another reviewer wrote. The front is ruched and a little cute with pockets, but the back looks like a poodle skirt. They also looked longer to me than in the picture. I have the smallest size so can't exchange it for another to see if that helps. The fabric was thicker than expected and wrinkled badly in the bag. I was expecting it to be softer and drape better.
