There is something wrong with this product. I've tried two of these and they both work really badly right out of the box. In both cases, the ratchet, which is supposed to lock the corkscrew, usually did not engage immediately, sometimes even after several attempts. Often the rabbits would stall after pulling the lever up a little. This results in poor leverage, meaning it takes tremendous force to pull the cork out. A handle on the second rabbit I tried broke after a few bottles. I've used rabbits before and they have worked very well, just as intended, with very little fuss. Something is wrong with this model - maybe a bad batch.
