So far this tool has worked flawlessly for me. I've assembled about half a dozen wire harnesses to date, all with different weather connectors, and this tool has never let me down. As with any hand tool, it only takes a little finesse to use it effectively. Most of the negative reviews I've seen are from newbies. This tool is perfect for amateurs and even professionals who use this type of connector on a regular basis. However, if you work several hours a day wiring harness assembly, there are more expensive and better equipped tools for this repetitive task.
