The folks we bought our house from obviously decided to do it all wrong when it came to DIY and covered all the nice woodwork in the house (that needed repainting) with clear non-paintable silicone. And when I say coated, I mean they put it in places that don't even need the proper sealant applied. I'm pretty sure there's a special place in hell for people who do this with wood products. Needless to say I was devastated at the thought of the hours I would spend sanding and cleaning this horrible DIY show that went wrong and I ordered this tool because... what the hell. I was hoping this would help but wasn't expecting much. (This thing was like glue. Horrible, horrible, colorless glue all over the place.) I kind of want to hug whoever invented this thing because it actually worked. I still had to spend many hours removing silicone but this tool got into very little nooks and crannies that were really hard to reach and it really reduced the effort involved in cleaning up the mess that was once mine woodwork was. . I still have 3 large windows and am so glad I bought this tool.
