It's not difficult at all, BUT if you don't know what you're doing when it comes to electricity or working with electricity makes you nervous, get a professional. But if you know how to work safely with electricity, this job is not difficult. The instructions contain all the necessary details and can easily be done in half an hour. After installation, the light is pleasant and even, turns on quickly and is bright. The price is certainly good and the thing is securely packed. The only reason it loses a star is that there was too much packaging and we missed the instructions the first time. Overall this is a recommended buy as a lamp replacement.
