Review on Samsung BD F5700 Wi Fi Blu Ray Player by Vijin Wisniewski

I have two of these, one from Revain and one from a retail store. Both work pretty well. The image quality is excellent and they load quickly. They play all my DVDs and BluRay discs perfectly. The only issues I have with these devices are: (1) The WiFi connection to my home network doesn't seem to work as well when the device is in my family room on the first floor. At first I thought the problem was with NetFlix, but I don't seem to have any trouble connecting to NetFlix from my laptop over a WiFi network. Samsung Player's WiFi connection drops and NetFlix streaming drops so frequently that it's almost impossible to watch NetFlix on this device. I even installed a WiFi repeater six meters away from the device, which only slightly reduced the connection problems. (2) The touchpad used to control the player is not marked with visible icons to indicate the location of the touch and its functionality. Apart from the two problems described above, I really like the device. One is in the downstairs family room where it is mainly used for watching DVDs and the other is used in the cinema in the basement where it is connected to a 3D projector and used for both movies and watching NetFlix and YouTube becomes. I can not say it exactly. I'm having connection issues with the player itself. WiFi signal strength at the family room location can still be an issue. If I could solve this problem I would give this player 5 stars. Based on my experience with the basement I would recommend this turntable.
