This is exactly what you need when you are working on a new phone or electronic device that uses glue to hold the parts together. It's important to note that you should remove the old glue when applying new glue so it doesn't affect the size as much as it would otherwise. They should go, but for the DIY you'll need something you can mold and shape to get into the right position (I used the tips of a pair of tweezers and the tip of a knife for this).
