Review on IeGeek Portable Rechargeable Playback Function by Issac Smart

I never thought I'd buy another portable DVD player with all the digital streaming options available, but I travel a lot and find internet speeds slower in many hotels. The absence makes streaming almost impossible (or annoying to say the least). Earlier this year I bought a large boulder DVD player that worked great, but I also wanted a smaller one. After some research I bought this 12.5" ieGeek model. The price was right and it supports many file formats including: CD, DVD, DVD+R(-R), DVD+RW(-RW), VCD, SVCD-R(RW), CD-R(RW). As well as VOB, AVI, MPEG, MP3, WMA and JPEG media files via USB input or SD card slot. The DVD player arrived well packaged with no problems. The player looks crisp, although the glossy finish definitely attracts fingerprints. The compact remote control comes with a button cell battery already installed. The remote has many built-in features, but it's not backlit and the buttons are small, so it might be easier to operate your DVD player in the dark using the built-in controls. (see photo) As far as the image quality is concerned, I am very satisfied. The screen is sharp and clear with wide viewing angles, the screen easily swivels up and down and back and forth with a single central hinge. The DVD player's stereo sound is also decent. Even in a noisy environment, I can still see and hear a movie at medium volume. One feature I like is that after turning the DVD/media player off and on again, the DVD will play from where you left off. off This DVD player can also be used to listen to CDs or MP3s stored on a flash drive or SD card. The sound from this DVD player can't compete with a full-fledged stereo system, but it still sounds pretty good. I can also turn off the LCD screen while playing music to save battery life. I've only just started to use this DVD/Multimedia player but so far I am happy with it and look forward to taking this player with me when I travel. (12V charger included. ) I'm also looking forward to trying out some of the multimedia features. Once I do that I will update this review.
