Review on 💡 Dazzlingly Versatile: Dimmable R7S Bulb 78mm by Bonlux by Jim Shirodkar

When the bulb burned out in my 25 year old floor lamp I decided to replace the LED bulb instead of replacing it the whole pear. It will be as bright as the old replacement. The glass heat shield doesn't fit on it as it's many times larger than the old halogen bulb. This is normal for now as it generates little heat, but I don't know how much dust affects light performance over time. Because it's so bulky, it can sometimes be seen over the top of the lamp, but that's generally not a problem. The color is the warmest available; It still doesn't have the lovely orange-amber glow of a halogen bulb (especially at low dim levels), but it's not harsh or icy in the way cooler incandescent bulbs can be.
