Not strong for tea or coffee

My husband bought me this set for Christmas because he wanted me to have a nicer set than the mugs I use. I hand washed them. I have a Keurig coffee maker and as I was making my morning coffee I heard the glass crack as the coffee filled the cup. I went to get it and the cup broke. I thought it must have been a broken cup. I have not used the cups for anything hot, today I hand washed the cup and heard the crackling again. I took photos, there are two big cracks on both sides. I didn't want to throw them away but this set is not safe to use. Sorry but I'm rating this one star.
