Provides a secure hold; there is nothing to fear at all. Very comfortable when walking. The problem for me is that I need more stiffness in the sock. They can be a bit big so I don't see it as a big issue with a slightly better fit but I think the mesh over the toes doesn't end up making them very comfortable for me. If you land on the toe of your back foot and the ground has even the slightest amount of moisture, your toe will eventually get wet. It also feels very uncomfortable when running. 4 stars overall for grip, comfort and a penchant for their looks so they might be perfect for those who don't end up having that much on their back toe.
