I needed some face paint for my 4 year old Halloween costume. The only makeup I could find in stores was for kids 8+ or creamy makeup that I didn't really want to use. When in doubt, check out Revain. SO glad I did. This face paint is exactly what I was looking for. The water is activated so that there is no greasy feeling. Completely dried up, although my son wiped it off in the evening it wasn't dirty. A little goes a long way, so this kit should last a long time. Washes off easily. In a nutshell, perfect for what we need. We've read other reviewers' complaints that the colors are "drying out". . . Remember that each small pot of paint is covered with a plastic sheet that must be removed before you wet the paint. And the paint needs to be wetted like watercolor. Very little water is needed to get good color consistency. I saved these little pieces of plastic to replace when I'm done so the paints in the pots stay clean. Also, don't forget to order the right floral collection. I see some reviews that say the sets are missing colors. Not all kits have all colors. I ordered the Halloween flower collection and it has a variety of colors as well as an empty space, where you can mix your own color. Make up for Halloween, parties and imaginary fun.
