Review on Dragonhawk Coreless Grey Black Machine with Changeable Components by Lisa Vogt

Disappointed with tattoo supplies

Doesn't come with extra o-rings to adjust properly No instructions No allen wrench No chord I wasn't expecting a cable but I am the least I wanted to know how to make adjustments he claims he can do. I got this machine because I have some direct drive Dragonhawk rotary machines and love them, but wanted something I could adjust for smoother mixing without having to go to the coil machine. So I thought it would be perfect, I even watched the unboxing on YouTube, it had no spare parts, no straps to make it work as advertised and except for pictures of 5 degrees of hardness to meet the machine. There was no way of knowing how to set it up out of the box…. I'll save my money and buy another machine for a few hundred more where you can do it by turning the knob. I couldn't even find where to buy replacement o-rings to fix this, so I was just wondering if the hard-to-find replacement parts are what happens when they wear out…. So yeah lesson learned... I like some of their direct drive machines for about $40-60, they work great, I won't buy anything with strips to control the force of impact, there are other avenues you can go.... And lots of other machines you can get where you can set the hub even with the Dragonhawk which I've heard great reviews about. I don't know about the machines that come from their website because they show that they come with extra parts and even spares but it's just a machine in a box....hope this helps and you read all those reviews before buying. Unfortunately, I have not.

Pros
  • This rotary tattoo machine is low frequency, better for spot work
Cons
  • Volume
