Love it! - Accessories

just arrived. Took it for a walk around my neighborhood and it just works. Setup took less than five minutes. I was prompted to download the app. I did and it made setup a lot easier. No need to press and hold buttons to tune/change stations, which is nice. The app's interface is a much larger reading display. It's worth downloading. I live in a VERY crowded city and the train stations are well maintained. However, the stations suggested by the SmartScan feature are far from the best. Luckily I knew the best channels on my radio and had already tuned them. The phone works very well. Judging by my voices, my voice sounded very clear, without background noise. It was hard to tell I was in my car. Her voice on my part was also very clear. Conversations can be held without yelling from either side. Static still creeps in, but that's common in a saturated market like mine. I have yet to find a transmitter that is free of static electricity. However, I was close with the latest road trip. Changing the output to mono gave clear sound with no noise. The loss of soundstage was noticeable but not uncomfortable. The design is very stylish. Soft blue lights create a very pleasant effect at night. The display is very easy to read and very nicely designed. The menu can be easily navigated without reading the manual. It's beautifully built. However, I found the swivel on the holder to be a bit looser than I would like. That's my only concern so far. So, just in case, I keep the box and packing material handy. There is no need to remove even the bulkiest (other than military grade) case I can think of. The holder is adjustable and has nice soft rubber padding. Conclusion: This is the best FM transmitter I have ever found for an iPhone 4.
