My husband chose this item because he felt I could use it to finish my latest resin work to improve. He didn't give any directions so I'm learning as I go. This review is written from the point of view of a total newbie to the instrument and the world of resin crafting. -My husband gave me a 2 minute lesson on how to use this tool. I haven't watched any tutorial videos. I went blind and here's what I found out. This tool is pretty intuitive for me. It is sharp and should not be handled by children or anyone with chemical disorders. I only use it to fix rough edges and I'll watch some tutorials, but I wanted this review to be written for absolute beginners. I have no problem with the tool. He does what I want and does it well. I had no problems with durability. It's holding up well after a few weeks of regular use. It is convenient to keep at least an hour. The price is competitive with other similar tools. It was well packaged to avoid damage in transit and unpacking accidents. Overall, I would say it comes in very handy for those who are just starting out. Is that enough for the savvy consumer or professional? I have no idea - it works for me.
