Coat is warm enough for cool weather but needs multiple coats for really cold weather. It works great here in Southern California and will protect my child from the worst of winter weather here, but it's just fall/spring and possibly early winter elsewhere. However, this coat works LITTLE. My son is 51.5 cm tall and weighs 62 pounds. Most of the time he hardly wears a size 8. (10). Glad I did that. The big one hardly fits him. The shoulder seams are just right on his shoulder and the length suits him perfectly he is also round and slim, only the arm length is a bit long (his arms are short so it's normal for him), the sleeves are about mid-arm. , just understand that you need to order a much larger size than you think you will need. 3.5 stars
