
This tool gives you what you pay for. A protective sleeve for measuring the correct length of coax cable is useful, but it's also too flimsy and gives "slack" when pressing on the cable in the socket. Overall it worked much quicker and cleaner than the cheap wire stripper that came with my coax crimp tool and I think it will have a few more uses so it's still worth buying at this price point. Update: It doesn't seem to be working very well a week after I used it for the first time. I had to use other tools to remove some of the protection. I tried cleaning it but that didn't seem to help.
