I have an extreme weather model ($130) and was considering the price. as a replacement valve ($30+) for this model. I didn't take the weird, weird valve literally, so imagine my surprise when I opened the package and found only one valve. There is a fabric flap between the two plastic flaps which is not advertised as unfortunately I can easily spot it. For the interior you have to order a different valve. placed this one outside to take away the cold wind immediately. FYI I replaced the bolts with #6 3" bolts and nuts as a couple of the plastic bolts on the sides of the valve broke off. I think it's the pressure. It is caused by you pulling the cover. Another installation tip is to use some decent duct tape while attaching the valve to the plastic strip that secures the valve to the door. Just make sure you punch holes first it wasn't hard for you to find them. Overall we like the door very much, bought it 3 years ago and finally replaced the panels, well after ordering another one I still find myself spending close to $70 for two plastic panels after so much money. Felt strips and fabric valve on the valve replacement bag. I think one could win more customers through exchange if yippy offered a complete package at a reasonable price. Otherwise, buyers can go to a new supplier. Proper maintenance is welcome!
