This review is for Ford F2VY-7384-B - RETAINER [Clip]. Reading this review means one thing. You lost an overdrive on your Ford truck, probably with a 4R75 transmission, right? I lost it on my 2004 expedition. 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears are fine and acceleration is like going into neutral. Sound familiar? This part is an exact replacement for a Ford bracket that can break. There is no guarantee this will be a problem for you, but it is a cheaper option compared to a rebuilt gearbox. The work itself is not so difficult, although it takes several hours and creates a real mess. Google "Ford Truck no Overdrive" and several forums with great information will come up. I can change oil, brake pads and discs, V-ribbed belts, spark plugs and other basic things myself. That's enough knowledge for this particular fix. This part worked great and after two days of downtime I had a super working truck again. Much luck.
