Review on SportRack Pursuit 3 Bike Anti Sway Trunk by Jeremy Gulledge

I love this bike rack. I literally spent hours researching a trunk rack, I wanted a bike rack. I have to get into the business because there aren't many bike racks, so I opted for a bike rack for two bikes, which I don't think is that bad, me and a friend can always bike together. In any case, I'll go into the details here. SportRack 2 Bike Anti-Sway vs. Allen 1 Bike Rack This bike rack fits my BMW 328i so well. I first bought an Allen single bike rack and it covered my California license plate. The LA police can stop you if they feel like it if you cover your license plate. Otherwise I would have kept the allen rack, it was pretty solid. But hiding my driver's license wasn't a bueno. This SportRack bike rack does NOT cover my driver's license, it's VERY sturdy. I feel like I can take it across the country or on a trip and not have to worry about my bike falling off and hurting someone. Allen's suitcase didn't convince me that much. It was more of a trunk for city trips. I really like how it sits on top of the trunk, it's FULLY adjustable even for a hatchback (see photo). You can also lay it flat when not in use. It has a metal adjustment for ropes. Allen was plastic so I don't think it was that strong. Allen also has flat foam, while this one has rounded foam. I really didn't like the way he was pushing my license plate and being so clumsy. I just didn't see the bike being stable on it. The city of Los Angeles is known for not the smoothest roads with all the potholes and bumps. This bike rack just feels solid and the details feel well made. There is some plastic (in the adjustable arm part which you tighten to fit the arms to your car) but I think design wise it looks good and is well made. All in all, I highly recommend this. For the price it was really great. I think I will use it for many years :-) I am very happy with my purchase,
