I bought FE5 struts and shocks to match my Cancuk Motorsports lowering springs for my Cobalt LT. With this combination, the drop was noticeable and the handling increased significantly. The driving characteristics are still very good. As you will find on most forums, they install straight away with no modifications. It's a shock only, so make sure you have the springs (don't use the stock base model springs). If you're lowering the base model with springs (as opposed to coilovers), these FE5 struts and shocks are a must.
