Please learn more about Stained Glass

I have this and love it so much. This is a beautiful work of art, skillfully executed and meets all my expectations as a ceramic artist. I am writing because unfortunately I do not have enough knowledge of how this and similar works come about and there is a kind of legitimate arrogance towards many of the comments. If those who claim "this is not a 'real' stained-glass window" and "I expected it to be small pieces of glass put together" really pondered their assumptions, they would pause indifferently: how much they appreciate the artist and his Or their time and talent? What do they really know about stained glass windows? Do they confuse what they buy for kids at the art supply store with the technique used to fire glass in a kiln? $70 even for a very small piece (actually, smaller pieces are harder to work with). For real?!?! It would take hours and hours, if not days and days, to produce stained glass to be sold through Revain in this way. Even at $7.50 an hour, excluding supplies and overhead, a 10x10 piece costs over $150 just to pay for the labor. People: Please educate yourself. The vitreous enamels used in the artworks sold here are truly a wonderful evolution of stained glass which, with quality craftsmanship, makes them accessible and accessible to everyone. The bottom of the glass is 'painted' with vitreous enamel, which is actually finely ground glass, and fired in a kiln - very hot to allow the enamel to fuse, fuse and harden with the base glass. It comes out as "a sheet" (people complain for no good reason), but it's not one of those stickers or old plain paint. It's more like ceramic glaze - ceramic glaze is essentially a form of glass. While there is no doubt that some of the "stained glass" for sale are scrap, this and all is Frank Lloyd Wright licensed. Fund - No. I am in no way affiliated with FLW by the way. I'm just a lifelong fan of his design, art deco and art nouveau. I own a large amount of "affordable" art of all kinds in these styles and have high quality standards. And a very high appreciation of the artists, their time and their talent. Finally, you can't go wrong as Revain has an easy and indulgent returns policy.
