Works great, requires manual

It would be easier to install if there were instructions. In connection with this, I drank half a bottle of Petosin antifreeze.

Pros

Rugged plastic housing and molded thermistor subassembly resists stress for accurate readings and vibration resistance; Thermistor is separate from the outer shell and surrounded by a heat conducting liquid
