Annamaet dog food was a hit with my old dog and this senior formula with lamb meal and whitefish is no exception. He showed great interest as soon as I pulled out the bag. And ate the sample faster than the buyers at Costco. Therefore, I would like to note that the taste was acceptable for our tester. The ingredients are top notch as is all of the food and the nutritional profile is great for senior dogs, high in protein, medium fat and all the senior vitamins we would want in our senior best friends. I actually started feeding my dog senior food from middle age on the recommendation of a veterinarian. He was starting to show signs of aging like an "old man's wart," at least that's what they called it at the vet clinic, and they said there wouldn't hurt to include some of those older vitamins in his diet, especially given the great dog genes for grooming joints and everything. So I started mixing them, and to this day, at 10.5 years old, he doesn't seem too big for a day.
