. It is well made and should last a lifetime. However, the position of the mounting holes you use for wall mounting could be improved. The base that makes up the wall is a good size, but they place the screw holes right in the middle. While I feel the whole system would be a lot more secure if they also made some bolt holes further left and right of center. I have a feeling this will increase attachment to your wall. You can see in my picture what happened when I installed this on 1/2" thick drywall using the 3 included anchors and screws. Strange screw hole placement. The top two screw holes are very close together. Why are you splaying Don't pull them apart again and move them around the corners of the bracket. However, mine got pulled out of the wall 10 hours after installation. Now I have a nice big hole that needs patching, soil filling and painting. Am I ended up moving the bracket to where I could mount the 2x4, on the other hand the crazy screw holes in the bracket aren't lined up straight top to bottom so you hardly ever bite the right edge of the 2x4 and hardly the left edge of the 2x4 i didn't want it to fall off again so I drilled a new hole in the mounting bracket making sure the 2 screws I used go into the M center of the 2x4 to give a nice firm hold. Therefore I cannot recommend this product due to the unusual screw hole pattern of the mounting bracket. I have a feeling others will have the same problem. This is a simple design decision. Place the bolt holes centered in the middle and also make two more bolt holes on the right and left. So if you choose to install in drywall rather than 2x4, the weight of the system and your monitors is somewhat spread out.
