A great gift! Although I'm not sure where to get a replacement for the weird battery it comes with. They're smaller than AAA but rated at 12V or so. I've never seen it and probably expensive. Anyway, there are dozens of settings and there's a certain strength to it, but obviously the buttons need to be learned, she just finds the one that works and works with it. I would give it 4 stars due to the weird battery and inability to instantly select the pattern and intensity you want. However, in terms of features, battery life, and overall build, it's great for its price.
