My husband and I had a couple of years ago in May, just after our 10th. I was during our first rushed wedding ill - cancer - and although I got a new diamond trim, I wanted an emerald ring to mark the month of my 'real' wedding and improve my trim. I'm generally a fan of natural gemstones, although sterling silver goes well with my white gold jewelry. I came across this group and decided to give it a try. She is great. What I like about dark green is that it's not too light and bright. This is not clearly an artificial stone. It has a more natural depth and looks like natural stone. Natural emeralds are often speckled and have a beauty - while the clarity of the gemstones in this ring is perfect, they still have an earthy vibe. Silver makes it brighter. Metal adds quality. The decor is simple and classic. I have another bridal set with diamonds and sapphires in the same setting that would look great with this ring. I'm sure the ring will compliment many other correct styles and of course when worn alone it will stand out on its own. All stones are open on the back for easy cleaning. The teeth are strong and reliable. As you can see from the photo, this is a fairly wide ring that stands out on the finger - not what I would call dainty. For this reason I decided on a size up to 9 - with a thinner wearer I would wear a 7-8. I didn't have any grip problems. I'm impressed and very satisfied. Haven't taken any photos since I got it.
