Review on 🚪 ECCPP Rear Hatchback Struts Gas Springs for Toyota Prius 2008-2015 and Prius Plug-In 2012-2015 | Compatible with 6244 Strut Set of 2 by Gary Hall

Works great as a stock replacement on my 2008 Prius with one caveat these struts are slightly longer than stock and have a little more resistance. It doesn't seem to be a problem, just the tailgate opens with a little more force than before (perhaps warn your family), climbs a few degrees higher and takes a little more force to close. There were no instructions, but neither were they needed as installation was surprisingly easy - a small flat head screwdriver was all it took to remove the retaining clips on the old posts and then the new ones snapped into place. I have to return in 6 months or a year but so far they seem great and the price has been great compared to ordering from an OEM or going to the dealer.
