I've used eyeglass chains in the past, but nothing like this one. It is more like a good piece of costume jewelry. It is heavier, but so far, it is very comfortable and doesn't slip around. The beadwork is beautiful and it is slightly stretchy. The length is perfect for me.The chain came in a nice giftable jewelry box with an eyeglass cloth and extra set of "loops". It appears to be very sturdy and well made, not to mention fashionable. I wasn't looking for something this pretty, but I think I can live with a bit of added flair.
