Like most devices that plug into a cigarette lighter, they temporarily lose power on impact, although this doesn't affect the charging adapters much, they will reset and reconnect to the Bluetooth device. My cigarette lighter takes up the same space as the cup holder. So bumping is only a problem if you drink and drive 👀. Another common problem with any FM transmitter is localized radio interference, leading to audio degradation, excessive background hiss, and sometimes complete loss of signal. My final complaint relates to the first, power failure. The device has buttons and a rotary knob that must be operated with special care so as not to turn off or turn off the device. However, this can be done, otherwise this device will be returned by 1 star. Now for the good! This block does what it is supposed to do very well. The FM station is adjustable in 0.1 increments (many of these have 0.2 increments from 102.1 to 102.3 etc.). The fine tuning seems to make a difference in the crowded FM area (I live near Los Angeles). However, the amount of interference and dropouts in FM radio reception is barely noticeable and much better than any similar device I've used in the past. Another big plus is loyalty. The audio quality is very good and with the built in 'Bass Enhancement' feature (user selectable) the quality rivals the best FM broadcasts I've heard. The final plus is the phone connection, which requires the usual stereo turn-on, but the audio quality is decent and I don't get any complaints from people I talk to while driving. I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't have Bluetooth integration. in her car stereo and since I paired mine with the Revain Auto product I couldn't be happier!
