Very bright! good for me
I'm using this in an unfinished basement, essentially mostly my work shop. I have several of these in a fairly large area. They are very bright. Your really don't want to look directly at one if your close to it. As bright as they are, the color spectrum they operate on seemingly doesn't throw light far. That's fine, the unit is very adjustable to get light where you need it. I like its appearance better than the grate style lamps. It has a very finished look.
