Soft on my dog's neck but overall it doesn't fit.

I really liked how soft the inside of this collar is. My dog has very little hair on the underside of his neck and his skin rubs easily. It didn't irritate. However, the design of the collar causes it to separate at the overlapping points, forming a loop that sticks out when my dog runs or plays. This protruding part can easily get caught on something that causes anxiety. As mentioned in other reviews this could be remedied if there were some sort of pull tab or velcro to hold the two layers of collar together where they overlap. In general, a comfortable collar is a good idea, but with an unfortunate design flaw.
