Works and clicks, it's a huge improvement.

I don't really understand why people think spiked collars are cruel - they are actually a great training tool. I have tried all other types of collars and harnesses - this collar finally allows me to walk my retriever mastiff mix around the area. I can control them without tearing my hands from my joints and without choking on convulsions. I chose the X-lrg (160 lbs) for the Dane and the medium (70 lbs) for the retriever. ah, for want of better work, something like the martindale effect, the collar is fine.

JOIN WITH LEADS AND A SPARE COLLAR FOR MAXIMUM CONTROL AND PROTECTION – Just in case your tines loosen while walking through busy streets. and you lose control of your dog, we recommend that you place a spare collar (standard collar) around your dog's head and place it under the spiked collar. This is to protect your dog whilst the D-rings allow you to attach both a spiked collar and a spare collar to the leash.
