The real best way to install them.

Spray hairspray on the brake levers, then simply apply to the sleeves while the hairspray is still wet. Acting as a lubricant when wet and an adhesive when dry, the spray combines the best of both worlds. Before locking the grips, this was the MOST way to install grips.
