Beautiful but short life.
I bought 2 of these lamps in a row for my large lava lamp. Lamps work well, but break quickly. They only seem to live about 6 months. And I only turn on the lava lamp on weekends. PS If they don't heat the lava for you, move the bulb to the base so it's closer to the glass. The lamp holder is adjustable.
