Turn it on in your RV!
I put a small light under my caravan just above the steps and ordered this switch because it was quite close to my trailer's OEM switches (see photo, bottom switch). As others have pointed out, it doesn't mount completely flush as it requires a decent square to cut out (see photo). I am satisfied with the switch and its appearance!
