Used to run a printer from a MAC in another room. There was already an RJ45 channel between the rooms. I hooked them up and the printer on one side and the computer on the other and the printer worked perfectly. Another review said I might need a PoE injector, but the printer worked fine without turning it on. This may not have been the case with the longer CAT 6 run, but here the run was only a meter.
