Update: The hook fell off the wall after about 3 weeks. I reattached another hook and it also fell off after a few weeks. They probably work better in an unpaired environment or just for holding towels. I needed a serious shower hook and wanted something pretty that would work in the shower. I cleaned the tile well with a chlorox cloth, inserted the hook and pressed firmly, then applied some heat with a hair dryer, especially around the edges. It looks beautiful and goes perfectly with everything we need for our small shower here in Italy! I didn't wait 24 hours for it to "set" before hanging our shower stall and filling it with food, but so far it's holding up well despite the weight and wetness of the bathroom. VERY happy with this purchase and the overall look, functionality and versatility of these hooks.
