When fitted it was stated to fit the Indian Chieftain but no mention was made of the fitted passenger backrest. I used the Indian Roadmaster as a sizing guide and it fits perfectly. It's a little cozy, but it's great. My old hat was bigger and blew up like a balloon in the wind. This one fits snugly, so I'm hoping it doesn't deflate. It has a back mount, but due to the low saddlebags I haven't used it yet.
